I thought that the research on twins were interesting in the way that genetics play a huge role in heredity influence and how you act. Identical twins who are reared together have 100% the same genetic makeup, and the mean correlation in intelligence is .85 . However, identical twins who are reared apart still have a high correlation of intelligence with .73 . This shows that genetics plays a big role. Identical twins are more similar in intelligence than pairs of fraternal twins because of their greater genetic similarity. This suggests that intelligence is partly inherited when you compare the results for identical and fraternal twins.
