Prejudice

After reading Chapter 15 in the book the one section that stood out to me was the Stereotypes section. People see others how they want to see them. Because of this, people stereotypes are continuously reinforced. It made me think on what I stereotype on. One of the major thinks is how I think so called "rednecks" talk, or how they are so patriotic. I realized I should not make fun of the way they talk, but i know plenty and it never gets old. I believe a lot of people feel the same way I do and the think every "redneck" talks like that. It is not true, people think that because that is the stereotype of them. It is continuously reinforced because other people think this too.
