PTSD
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is something that many soldiers have to deal with upon returning home from battle. The video we watched during class today did an excellent job of showing the new ways that soldiers are being helped to overcome this disorder. By using virtual reality therapists are able to put their patient back into the traumatic situations that they are shocked from. I think that this a very benificial form of therapy because it allows for the insert the soldier back into the situations that he is afraid of. By doing this it allows for the soldier to be able to relive the experience over and over again thus allowing for him to become more used to the situation. This new discovery may be a great way to help soldiers cope with the great tradgedies they must witness during war.
